Whether your special need child has a visible disability, like cerebral palsy or down syndrome, or an 'invisible' disability like autism or aspergers, chances are you're constantly learning about your child's disability and trying to figure out how to deal with it. We know what it's like, we have special need children too. And chances are, you're probably also feeling more than a bit overwhelmed by everything, at least occasionally.
Like you, not only do we have the huge responsibility in raising our special need child, you have to navigate your way through endless amounts of information just to find out what help is available - let alone trying to access it.
That's where we come in. We'll scan the enormous amounts of information 'out there' and aim to get you easy access to exactly the information you need - quickly and easily. In fact, we're trying to organize our information so that you can get to the 'meat' of what you're looking for in no more than 4 clicks wherever possible.
And, that's not all. We'll filter out all of the information that doesn't apply if you don't live in Canada. That alone will save you hours!
We're based in Toronto, so the information we gather and re-create for you here will probably be heavily focused on Toronto initially. But, not to worry, we'll do our best to grow our site with information for people right across the country. In fact, you can help by sending us information for your area directly.
