Disability Tax Credit applications probed




Should you give a portion of disability tax credit owing to you to a company that assists you in completing forms?

Both the National Benefit Authority in Toronto and J & J Canadian Grants in Winnipeg are under investigation, according to reports from CBC

At issue apparently is whether the claims made were valid - and that is something that will wend it's way through the system.


The other issue to consider is whether it is appropriate that a company charge a percentage of funds received as payment when the information is available free from the government.
