Early Expressions - Fun and Social Skills Summer Camp
Summer camp directors Alley and Lindsay are ecstatic to have the opportunity to offer a summer social skills camp for the summer of 2011.
With a combined 10 years of experiences implementing social skills programs, Alley and Lindsay have designed a camp experience tailored to those campers who require a little bit of extra support throughout the camp day, without sacrificing the typical camp experience.
Details include:
The program is designed to meet the needs of children aged 3-12
Campers will be placed in a group that meets their individual social needs, in a low camper to staff ratio of 3:1
An average day will consist of fun outdoor activities centered around peer to peer interactions
Fun activities will include, but are not limited to; music circles, arts and crafts, activities in our sensory garden, playground scavenger hunts, water play and a teddy bear picnic
Each week will operate based on different weekly themes, designed to maximize camper interest and socialization opportunities.
