Eradicating poverty of the marginalized and differently able women through skill training leading to social enterprise

The International Special Needs Institution is a social enterprise with a vision of empowering and enabling women with Dis-Abilities to live sustainable high quality life has partnered with Canadian based Disability Hub to plan and implement measure towards poverty eradication of marginalized and differently able populace through skill training and social enterprise activities.

Mr. Aquil Samah Masroor President and Managing Trustee of ISNI (Trust) says “we have been providing economic growth through skill training which has increased the ability of the differently able and marginalised women to raise their incomes and increased their quality of life.

We are very excited about our collaboration as this will help us to facilitate self dependence of many women in the rural areas of India. We are also aiming to outreach our knowledge of skill training and enterprise in various countries”

ISNI Trust programs in collaboration with several governmental and not for profit agencies has supports annually over 2000 artisans. Disability Hub in Canada will be promoting and selling the products made by Artisans of ISNI (Trust).

The products include fashion jewellery, scarfs, handicrafts and recycle paper products. The products are made keeping in mind international quality and fair trade.

Custom made orders and support to various community agencies in setting up of social enterprise is also done by Disability Hub.

With deep roots in the development area, Disability Hub has potential to deliver effective services, by community engagement through setting up of retail kiosk and organizing special training programs and events which will bring practical solutions for economic development of women with disabilities who are most often poorest of the poor populace.
