I would like to find an advocate for my son, who has autism, and myself. I feel very discouraged about the funding process, as I am not satisfied with the program or the conditions. I am faced constantly with red tape and officials who do not listen to my needs, do not have the time for it, nor do they appear to care if I'm satisfied. My son is autistic( age 16) and I have just applied for funding for children with severe disabilites, after a period of about 13 years. I am not satisfied with the program or services. I plan to discontinue it after about 3 months due to severe frustration. Does anyone know of an advocate that could help me?!! Thank you for your efforts! Melinda @ 705-749-9281
