MOVEMENT & ADAPTED YOGA are two new week-end programs offered by the Spiral Movement Center. These programs are designed for a wide spectrum of special needs challenges including ADHD, autism, hyperactivity and developmental delays. Founders Stephanie Gottlob & Yuji Oka first developed and implemented these programs in the United States, and they have been proven and successful with hundreds of children with special needs.

MOVEMENT is a full developmental curriculum which leads children through three stages of learning throughout the year. In addition to gross motor skills, participants are taught foundational skills for the classroom – how to sit, take turns, interact with peers, demonstrate skills and become creatively independent.

The ADAPTED YOGA program is perfect for parents who wish for their children to gain independence and confidence in the process of learning. In addition to developing a greater physical awareness, participants will explore group interactions, breathing, massage, and relaxation techniques.
