Hello i am writing to make a few programs more aware within the City of Bramptons special needs department.

Swim and Explore - a swimming program for children aged 5-12 where we swim for an hour and then play in the bouncy castle, colour, listen to music, dance, play with instruments, toys, chalk and make new friends. This program starts in January at Loafers Lake recreation center in Brampton. It runs from 12:30 - 3:30 each week. Contact any City of Brampton rec center to register.

Skate and Explore - a skating program for children from 5-12 where we skate and then participate in games and activities. This program runs on Monday nights at south Flechures in Brampton. Contact any City of Brampton rec center to register.

Expressive Creations - this is a new program that your special needs child can do with their brothers or sisters (age 5-12). It is a program that works on fine motor skills, following instructions and creativity. Children work on fun crafts such as painting, cooking, decorating, and making friends. This program runs on Thursday nights from 6 - 7:30 at Loafters Lake rec center. Contact any City of Brampton rec center to register.

There are other programs for other age groups please contact any rec center to find out more information. Hope to meet you soon!

Hi Kay,

I saw your posting on the Special Need Child Canada site and I would interested in learning more about your services.

I am a social worker with The Safehaven Project for Community Living and we provide respite and residential care to children with severe physical and developmental disabilities. We are always looking to enhance the quality experience for the children and their families and I think we could arrange a photo session for these families. Would this be something you would be interested in?

Our main location is in Toronto (1173 Bloor Street West) and my number 416-535-8525 ext. 226

Thank you,
Maria Gregoriou
