reachAbility is a non profit charitable organization established in March of 2000 by a group of volunteers in Halifax. We are committed to increasing awareness of persons living with disabilities and their roles within, through education and information. We strive to fully include all members of our communities regardless of their abilities, by improving access to justice, equity, and human rights for persons living with disabilities and for those within their support systems.

Through awareness and education, we are empowering persons living with disabilities, and giving them opportunities to move further forward with their lives; giving them more independence, and enabling them to become fully integrated in mainstream employment and society.
