IDEAL-WAY.ca was founded by Robert Pio Hajjar, born with Down Syndrome.
IDEAL-WAY is inviting all Educators to help us find artists among these exceptional individuals. We believe that persons with Down syndrome, Autism, etc., can create art just like anybody else. Would you like to creat some art such as a painting, drawing, photography or sculpture? Send us your best art in any style, on any subject. Any art created in 2008 is eligible for entry. The 2008 Contest is open to all ages. Two entries per person.
Judging for the Art Contest, strictly for persons with intellectual disability and living in Ontario, will be chaired by Andrew Hamilton, Canadian landscape painter, Fine Arts Professor, former Curator - Marianne van Silfhout Art Gallery. The IDEAL ART Show is being planned at one of Ontario's premiere Art Galleries to showcase these works of art.
This is a fun, FREE contest with many exciting prizes for lots of winners. There will be random draws of prizes for persons simply giving it a try and entering.
